Hey team, I bought the annual plan last week but my account still shows as free tier. Order ID is #A7849. Can you look into it?

Hi Matt, thanks for flagging. I found the order, looks like the upgrade didn't sync. I've manually moved you to annual and comped an extra month for the trouble. Refresh and you should see Pro on your account.
The problem

An alert isn't a workflow. So things slip.

When your customers live on Reddit, the default tooling breaks fast. Conversations get found, then they pile up with no owner and no record. Four places it falls apart, every day.

Alerts pile up, nothing gets handled

Your monitor fires Reddit alerts into Slack, email, or another tool all day. No owner, no status, no record. You have no idea which got handled and which got missed.

Multiple accounts, multiple tabs

Brand account, mod account, founder account. Reddit makes you log in and out all day to see them.

DMs, modmail, mentions, comments

Four message types, four different UIs on Reddit. You tab-switch all day to do one job.

No way to hand off

You can't assign a thread to a teammate. Conversations get dropped, double-replied, or quietly forgotten.

Layer 1 · Your accounts, synced

Everything from your own accounts, pulled in automatically.

Connect your Reddit accounts and Subportly syncs what already belongs to you: DMs, modmail for subreddits you moderate, and mentions and replies on your own posts. No setup, no monitoring tool. Reddit scatters this across four screens. Subportly puts it in one.

  • Connect unlimited Reddit accounts. Brand, mod, personal.
  • DMs, modmail, mentions, and comment replies on your accounts. Chats coming soon.
  • Works day one. This is your own inbox, not a keyword search.

Layer 2 · The rest of Reddit, watched

Catch the conversations that never touch your accounts.

Your synced accounts cover what comes to you. Monitoring covers everything else: someone naming your brand in another subreddit, a competitor thread, a keyword anywhere on Reddit. Use Subportly's built-in watch, or pipe in the monitoring tool you already run. Either way it lands in the same inbox.

  • Already run Octolens, Brand24, or F5Bot? Webhook it in and the alerts get a home.
  • No monitor yet? Subportly watches Reddit for your keywords and brand.
  • Synced accounts and monitored mentions, one queue, one owner each.

Built for teams

One queue. Everyone knows what's theirs.

Assign conversations to teammates. Resolve when done. Add internal notes that never reach Reddit. Search across every account in seconds.

  • Assign conversations to anyone on the team. See what's yours at a glance.
  • Internal notes and @mentions stay private to the team. Reply drafts go to Reddit.
  • Resolve to close. Re-open if it comes back. Track median response time across the team.

FAQ

Questions we get a lot.

Something else on your mind? support@subportly.com

Does Subportly break Reddit's ToS?
No. We use Reddit's official OAuth and public APIs. You connect your own accounts with your own permissions, and Subportly only sees what each account would see logged in. We don't scrape, we don't use shadow accounts, we don't mass-post.
How is this different from a monitoring tool like Brand24 or Octolens?
Monitoring tools find Reddit conversations and fire an alert. That's where they stop. The alert lands in Slack or email, with no owner, no status, and no record, and on a busy day dozens of them scroll past unhandled. Subportly is what happens next: every conversation gets assigned, tracked, replied to, and resolved, with a full history. They find. We handle. Most teams use both.
Can I bring my own monitoring tool?
Yes. If you already run Octolens, Brand24, F5Bot, or another monitor, pipe it into Subportly by webhook and your alerts finally get a home: one inbox with an owner and a status on every conversation. Not using a monitor yet? Subportly can watch Reddit for you too. Either way, everything lands in one queue.
How fast do new messages appear?
As fast as Reddit allows. Starter syncs every 5 minutes, Team every 60 seconds, Enterprise every 15 seconds. Reddit doesn't offer webhooks, so all sync is polling. We just do it on the tightest schedule that's reliable.
Can I use this if I only moderate a subreddit?
Yes. Mod-only teams are a big chunk of our users. Connect the moderator account, pull Modmail for every subreddit you moderate, and assign threads to other mods. Same workflow, no brand account required.
What about Reddit's new API pricing?
Subportly handles Reddit API access for you. Your monthly price doesn't change based on volume. If you're running extreme volume on the Enterprise plan, we'll talk about it honestly.
Do you store message content?
Yes, encrypted at rest, in a region you pick (US or EU). Team plan retains 12 months by default; Enterprise is configurable, including zero-retention modes. Full details on our security page.
Can I migrate off?
Always. Every conversation, tag, and note is exportable as JSON or CSV from the settings page, with one click. We don't hold your data hostage. If we stop earning your business, you get it back cleanly.
